Young Maple Ridge Sugarhouse can be found in the backwoods of North Sandwich. Brad Streeter started sugaring in March 2000. The business began in Tamworth, NH at a sugarhouse on the Behr Farm. In 2004, the first sugarhouse in Sandwich was built and all operations moved there. In 2011 the business found itself outgrowing the sugarhouse again and built another new, state of the art sugarhouse. Operations at the new location on 301 Wing Road, North Sandwich commenced for the 2012 season. The operation includes a wood fired evaporator with steam away and reverse osmosis.
NH Best Maple SyrupYoung Maple Ridge Sugarhouse is run by Brad Streeter andYoung Maple Ridge Sugarhouse his 2 children, Jorja & Nolan. However, there are many extended family members who lend more than a helping hand to make their “hobby” and small business a success. Brad’s parents, Rae & Bob Streeter help to gather sap daily as well as being on hand to help with ANYTHING else needed! Brad’s father-in-law, John Robinson, enjoys helping with the boiling process and was a big help in the initial set up of the tubing lines. There are too many helping hands to list, but the business wouldn’t be the same without their support.
